MAGS TRANSPORT & TICKET ARRANGEMENTS

Walsall - 20 January 2001

We are planning to travel by train via Bristol, Gloucester and
Cheltenham to Birmingham and take the 15 minute train journey to Walsall
from there. The train station is at the ground itself. Anyone wishing
to meet up at any station on route drop Keith a phone call for info. (01452) 621007

It's a good opportunity to have a few beers on route, meet up for the
first time in a while ( always a good idea ) and make some plans for the
Bristol City away game on the 3rd February.

The suggested train leaves Weston Super Mare at 9.56 am
stops at Bristol Temple Meads 10.15am and Bristol Parkway 10.26am
and Cheltenham at 10.59am. The change at New Street in Birmingham
leaves at 12.12pm.

On the way back the Birmingham New Street train leaves at 6.30pm and
stops at Cheltenham and Gloucester on to Bristol. For Weston you change
at Bristol. It makes good sense and due to a fairly good MAGS turn out
expected, is the best mode of travel. Think about the beer :-)

There are no identified problems regards train delays and there hasn't
been any for a month or so.

It will be a fairly decent MAGS turn out, the best mode of travel is
train, and from here fairly cheap.

And the Bescot stadium has it's own train station.

Watch this space for details of the Bristol City game on 03 February

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED ON ANY OFFICIAL MAGS TRANSPORT (BRITISH RAIL EXCEPTED!)
